Job summary

The National University of Singapore is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead the Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE 2.0) operations. You will coordinate with faculty and partner schools to drive education, policy research, and stakeholder engagement, while overseeing project grants, budgets, and performance reporting.

Strong communication, leadership and funding development skills are essential for success in this role within a dynamic, international university environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in university, research institute, healthcare organisation, government agency, or international organisation.
• Experience in programme management, strategic planning, partnership development, and business development.
• Proven track record in managing externally funded projects, grants, or strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of CoRE 2.0 and manage its four strategic functions: Education and Capacity Building; Public Policy Research and Thought Leadership; Stakeholder Convening and Advocacy; and Biomedical Standards Development.
• Coordinate with faculty, researchers, and administrative offices to ensure smooth implementation of CoRE 2.0 initiatives.
• Provide secretariat support to leadership and governance committees, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports and papers, and following up on strategic initiatives.
• Develop and implement operational policies, processes, and performance monitoring systems to support growth and sustainability.
• Support Executive Director and leadership in strategic planning, partnerships, and external funding opportunities.
• Monitor performance indicators, prepare annual reports and impact assessments, and identify opportunities to improve governance and efficiency.
