Job summary

DIM SUM PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operative to manage the receipt, storage, picking, packing and distribution of raw ingredients and finished goods for our central kitchen and outlets.

You will help ensure accuracy, hygiene and compliance with food safety standards while working in chilled, dry and frozen environments. The role requires physical fitness, ability to operate pallet jacks and trolleys, and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work in chilled and frozen environments.
• Basic understanding of inventory and food handling procedures.
• Experience in F&B, central kitchen, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store dry, chilled, and frozen goods, checking quality and expiration dates.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in storage areas including cold rooms and freezers.
• Pick and pack ingredients for kitchen production and outlet deliveries according to orders.
• Issue materials to production teams with accurate records.
• Ensure proper inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and report discrepancies.
• Maintain records of goods received, issued, and inventory adjustments.
• Assist with stock takes and daily inventory updates.
• Operate pallet jacks, trolleys, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Follow all food hygiene, safety, and workplace safety regulations.
• Communicate inventory issues to the Central Kitchen Manager.
• Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, and logistics teams to meet needs.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
