Job summary

VFI Food Pte Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. You will handle inventory, packing and dispatching goods, and coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience, familiarity with WMS, ability to work in chilled and freezer environments, and a proactive team player who can work independently and follow safety SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is required.
• Capable of performing physical and manual handling duties.
• Able to work in chilled and freezer environments when required.
• Forklift license is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, storing and issuing raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Pick, pack and label products in accordance with order requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and movement of food products in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Perform regular stock checks, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist with loading and unloading, inspect and store of goods as required.
• Handle goods in freezer and cold-room environments in accordance with safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and safety within the warehouse.
• Support logistics coordination and delivery schedules.
• Comply with workplace safety, company policies and SOPs.
