Job summary

ONG TENG CHONG BUILDING CONTRACTOR PTE LTD is seeking a responsible individual to supervise and coordinate daily cemetery burial operations at Choa Chu Kang. The role involves overseeing soil and crypt burials, managing ground staff and ensuring safe, efficient and dignified burial services.

Responsibilities include liaison with authorities and bereaved families, planning manpower and equipment, supervising plot preparation, maintaining records, and driving continuous improvements in service

Qualifications

• Prior cemetery, burial, funeral or related operations experience is advantageous.
• Supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to supervise staff and coordinate daily operations effectively.
• Responsible, organized and able to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a cemetery environment.
• Able to handle basic administrative tasks and documentation.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
• Compassionate, respectful and professional when dealing with bereaved families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily burial operations, including soil and crypt burials.
• Oversee ground staff to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, machinery and equipment deployment.
• Supervise burial plot preparation and restoration works.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, contractors and bereaved families.
• Monitor work progress, resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain operational standards.
• Maintain accurate daily records, reports and documentation.
• Assist management in improving operational efficiency and service standards.
