Job summary

Lonza Singapore is offering a Career Conversion Program (CCP) for a Biotechnologist to manufacture therapeutic cell products under CGMP conditions. You will work in a CGMP-cleanroom environment with a team of up to 40 specialists and supervisors to apply learned skills and develop production expertise.

The program includes on-the-job training for 15 months, after which successful candidates join day, weekend and public holiday rotation shifts (12 hours).

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in a related Science/ Engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of cGMP applications.
• Knowledge of cell culture and aseptic processing within a classified environment.
• Willing to perform rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
• Strong team oriented work ethic and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with site/department EHS standards.
• Attains understanding of CGMP and clean room practices.
• Maintains production facilities and equipment (cleaning, sanitization, monitoring).
• Performs solution and medium preparation with aseptic filtration.
• Revival and culturing of cell lines in static flasks and cell factories.
• Harvest and concentration of cell cultures using TFF or centrifugation.
• Final formulation and filling of vials; visual inspection and cryopreservation.
• Participates in aseptic process simulations.
• Completes batch records accurately.
