Job summary

Slab Coffee in Singapore's CBD seeks a Service Crew for fast-paced customer service at the counter. You will take orders, handle the till, and ensure a smooth, professional experience for every guest.

You will be part of a small team that values hospitality, supports each other during the morning rush, and participates in ongoing training and performance reviews. Start date: June 2026 or by arrangement.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and presentable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment.
• Good basic communication skills in English.
• Able to stand for extended periods during a shift.
• Prior experience in F&B, retail, or customer service is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a warm, professional, and consistent manner.
• Take orders accurately at the counter, POS, or via mobile and delivery platforms.
• Handle cashiering, payments, and refunds with care and accuracy.
• Communicate clearly with the bar and kitchen team to keep ticket flow smooth.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, seating area, condiment station, and customer-facing zones.
• Restock cups, lids, packaging, retail items, and condiments through the day.
• Manage queues during peak hours with composure and clear communication.
• Handle customer feedback respectfully and escalate to the supervisor when needed.
• Support opening, closing, and cleaning duties as part of daily operations.
