Job summary

Rico Catering PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a responsible Procurement Executive to join our food and catering team, focusing on accuracy and timely sourcing.

You will source ingredients and packaging, evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, monitor inventory, issue POs, and maintain transparent procurement records to support production and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with kitchen, operations and warehouse teams to align procurement with demand, and identify cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B, catering, or food manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management systems.
• Experience in sourcing food ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase food ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies to support daily production needs.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers to secure competitive pricing, high quality, and reliable delivery performance.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize procurement costs and terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain sufficient stock to meet production schedules without interruption.
• Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records for audit and operational transparency.
• Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen, operations, and warehouse teams to align procurement with production demands.
• Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities to improve procurement efficiency.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and food safety requirements to maintain regulatory standards.
