Job summary

Select Group Pte Ltd seeks a capable Packing Manager to oversee end-to-end packaging and dispatch in its central kitchen catering unit, ensuring meals and equipment are accurately packed, temperature-controlled, and dispatched on time for events and corporate clients.

Responsibilities include supervising the packing floor, enforcing HACCP standards, managing packaging stock, and leading staff to sustain productivity during peak catering hours.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in food packaging, warehouse management, or kitchen operations in catering/hospitality/food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and temperature-controlled food handling.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Supervise the daily workflow of the packing floor and coordinate with kitchen production and dispatch.
• Quality & Accuracy Control: Enforce quality checks to ensure items match menu specs, portions, dietary needs, and client orders.
• Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Maintain HACCP/ISO hygiene standards and workplace cleanliness in the packing area.
• Inventory & Equipment Oversight: Manage packaging materials stock and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Team Leadership: Train, schedule, mentor, and evaluate packing staff for peak hours.
• Logistics & Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate with drivers and logistics for efficient route loading and reduced spoilage.
