Job summary

Wilmar Distribution Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Catering Executive to coordinate and execute catering operations, including event setup, buffet design and presentation.

The role covers food delivery, equipment management and on-the-job training of new employees to ensure events are delivered safely and in line with standards. You will collaborate with Sales, Kitchen and Operations teams to meet client requirements, supervise staff during events and drive improvements in buffet concepts and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of buffet setup, event operations and food presentation.
• Experience in coordinating catering logistics and service standards.
• Strong leadership, supervision and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Proficiency in basic reporting and documentation using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily catering operations, events, deliveries and logistics.
• Design, plan and supervise buffet layouts, styling and presentation.
• Lead event setup and teardown for smooth execution.
• Train and guide new hires on procedures, service standards and safety.
• Maintain and monitor catering equipment, including repairs, storage and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Supervise catering staff and coordinate manpower during events.
• Liaise with customers, Sales, Kitchen and Operations to meet event requirements.
• Resolve operational issues and gather customer feedback.
• Support continuous improvement of buffet concepts and catering procedures.
