Job summary

Marina Bay Sands invites talented lighting, audio, and staging professionals to join our theatre team. You will support production lighting staff, enforce safety SOPs, and help maintain lighting, A/V and rigging systems across shows and events.

The role requires hands-on experience with lighting, audio/AV, or staging duties, and relevant Work-At-Height certification. Prior entertainment/theatre/event experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Entertainment/Theatre/Events preferred.
• Competent in Lighting, Audio/AV, or Staging duties.
• Hold valid Work-At-Height Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support production lighting staff as directed by HOD or Supervisor.
• Enforce safety procedures and SOPs.
• Hang, focus, repair, and maintain light equipment.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and support team productivity.
• Support stage sound and video operations for shows and events.
• Operate, troubleshoot or maintain A/V systems and inventory.
• Operate/maintain theatrical rigging and staging equipment and systems.
• Use hand tools and machinery for installation, repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain WHS within the theatre in Staging and Rigging areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Lighting Support production lighting staff as directed by HOD or Supervisor for lighting.
• Understand and help enforce MBS safety procedures and follow SOPs.
• Hang, Focus, Repair, and Maintain light equipment under the direction of the lighting supervisor.
• Ensure work tasks and projects are completed on time and support the productivity of the team.
• Audio Supports all stage sound and video operations for shows and events within the theatre.
• Ensure production requirements are delivered.
• Responsible for operating, troubleshooting or maintaining A/V systems and inventory.
• Staging Operate / maintain theatrical rigging and staging equipment and systems.
• Use of various hand tools and machinery for installation, repairs and maintenance.
• Responsible for operating, troubleshooting and maintaining systems and inventory.
• Responsible for WHS within the theatre in the area of Staging and Rigging.

Job Requirements

• Education & Certification Valid Work-At-Height Certification Experience Prior experience working in Entertainment/ Theatre / Events Industry.
• Other Prerequisites Subject to position required, must be competent in either Lighting, Audio/ AV, or Staging duties.
