Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd. seeks an Assistant Production Manager to coordinate factory operations, monitor progress and support timely delivery of carpentry and joinery works. You will track schedules, resolve production challenges and ensure quality and safety across the project lifecycle.

The role involves reviewing drawings, coordinating with carpentry teams, and generating weekly progress reports to inform management and mitigate risks. A hands-on, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in carpentry, joinery, fabrication or interior fit-out production.
• Hands-on technical knowledge coordinating factory or production activities.
• Able to interpret construction and production drawings.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with drawing control, material requirements and production quality standards.
• Able to communicate effectively with management and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Support daily factory operations to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Track weekly production schedules and progress; coordinate corrective actions.
• Resolve production challenges such as material shortages or technical issues.
• Coordinate with production coordinators and carpentry leads to review targets.
• Prepare weekly reports on production progress, indicators and risks.
• Review and organise construction/production drawings; maintain records.
• Manage drawing version control and distribute revisions to production teams.
• Identify revisions impacting quantities, labour or costs; alert management.
• Support improvements to production efficiency and reduce rework.
