Job summary

MOMENT DESIGN MFG PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled carpenter to read blueprints and drawings, measure materials, cut and shape lumber and fiberglass, and build window frames, doors, staircases and structural frames to precise specs.

You will lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, install furniture, cabinets and shelves at designated sites, and inspect for repairs. Proficiency with powered saws, hammers, rulers and ability to interpret technical documents are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Hands-on experience with carpentry materials.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and installation methods.
• Proficient with powered saws, hammers, and rulers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Commitment to following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Measure and calculate material sizes and quantities.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and fiberglass according to precise measurements.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and structural frames.
• Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall ensuring surfaces are level and aligned.
• Carve, assemble, and install furniture, cabinets, shelves at designated locations.
• Inspect sites to identify repair or maintenance needs and perform fixes.
• Construct scaffolding and other temporary structures safely and securely.
