Job summary

SM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking skilled carpentry tradespeople to read blueprints and drawings, take precise measurements and determine material quantities, and cut, shape and smooth lumber and fiberglass components to specification.

You will install structures and fixtures, construct building frameworks including walls, floors and doorframes, perform minor masonry and concrete work, and repair doors and related hardware on site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.
• Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.
• Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding.
• Constructing and installing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Performing minor masonry and concrete work.
• Repairing doors, operators and door frames.
