Job summary

HSR Contract Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our on-site team in Singapore. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and install doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, and siding across residential and commercial projects.

Candidates should have proficiency in carpentry techniques, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measuring, marking, and cutting materials (wood, drywall, metal) to required dimensions.
• Building frameworks for structures, including floor joists, wall studs, roof rafters, and stairs.
• Installing doors, windows, cabinets, molding, drywall, insulation, and siding.
• Sanding, staining, varnishing, and installing fixtures like locks and door handles.
• Repairing or replacing damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures in residential or commercial buildings.
• Safely operating hand tools (chisels, levels) and power tools (saws, drills, sanders).
• Ensuring compliance with local building codes and health/safety regulations.
• Proficiency in carpentry techniques, materials, and blueprint reading.
• Strong arithmetic skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work at heights or in confined spaces
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
