Job summary

SANAM ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled carpenter to support commercial and residential projects.

You will interpret blueprints, measure, cut, and assemble wood and related materials, and install frameworks, roofing, partitions, staircases, cabinetry, doors, windows, walls, and furniture. You will work with hand and power tools, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with other trades to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches, or building plans
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials
• Assemble and install frameworks, roofing, partitions, staircases, and cabinetry
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, walls, floors, frameworks, and furniture
• Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and chisels
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using measuring tools
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Ensure structures meet building codes and safety standards
• Work with other trades to complete construction projects
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines
