The role involves assembling frameworks, cabinetry, roofing, partitions, and decorative features, while reading blueprints and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will measure, cut, and assemble timber products, use both hand and power tools, and collaborate with other trades to meet deadlines and maintain quality

Qualificações

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or building plans.
• Ability to measure, cut and assemble wood and plywood to specifications.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in carpentry.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble and install frameworks, roofing, partitions, staircases, and cabinetry.
• Interpret and analyse blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, walls, floors, frameworks, and furniture.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and chisels.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using measuring tools.
• Ensure structures meet building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Work with other trades to complete construction projects.
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines.
