Job summary

JIN FU CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled construction worker to read blueprints and follow supervisor specifications, and to cut and shape structures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.

You will use hand and power tools, join materials with nails, screws, or adhesives, check accuracy with levels and framing squares, ensure safety, and work independently to meet schedules while delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and drawings.
• Skill in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to cut and shape structures from wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall.
• Capable of joining materials with nails, screws, staples or adhesives.
• Attention to accuracy and safety in construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Able to read from blueprints & drawings and work to specifications given by construction supervisors or architects.
• Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
• Experiences in using various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
• Builds or fabricate structures from raw materials, removal and repairs defective structures using various tools.
• Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
• Ensures accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
• Produce quality works and rectify works to meet clients' expectations.
• Adheres to safe work practices and guidelines to ensure safe work environment.
• Able to work independently and meet the given schedules.
