Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is assisting a maritime client in Singapore to hire a Cargo Officer / Bunker Clerk for onboard operations on a tanker. The role involves hands-on cargo management, documentation, and ensuring compliance with SS648:2024 standards.

Work schedule is 3 days onboard / 3 days off, with a shift-based regime and the ability to stay onboard. Salary is SGD 4,000–5,000 plus a variable bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Bunker Clerk or Cargo Officer onboard bunker tankers.
• Certification in Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR 48).
• Certification in Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS 648:2024).
• Willing to perform shift duties and stay onboard vessel as required.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to follow through on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage cargo operations and documentation onboard bunker tanker
• Safeguard product quality and quantity during loading and delivery operations
• Ensure compliance with Company work instructions and SS648:2024 requirements where applicable
• Implement and maintain proper custody control procedures for onboard cargo storage and movement
• Maintain accurate and timely inventory records, including stock movement logbook and daily ROB reports
• Report customer complaints or disputes promptly to the Operations Manager and assist in onsite investigations
