Job summary

Wise is seeking a Technical Team Lead to own two critical Global Cards Operations domains: Cards Billing Operations and Cards Settlement Operations. You will sit at the intersection of operations, product, and engineering, leading technical initiatives to reduce costs and ensure timely scheme payouts.

The role requires ownership of domain strategy, roadmaps, and performance KPIs, plus coaching the team in project management, SQL, dashboards, and automation thinking.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive domain strategy and cost ownership.
• Own yearly roadmap and team OKRs.
• Own Billing and Settlement performance.
• Drive technical problem solving and automation.
• Own audit, compliance, and control readiness.
• Act as cross-functional POC with Finance, Treasury, Analysts, Payment Operations, Internal Controls.
• Manage, coach, and upskill the team.
