Job summary

Maribank Singapore Private Limited is seeking an experienced Bank Operations Associate to join the Card and Loan Operations team. You will provide high-quality support, handle processing tasks, and ensure issues are resolved within SLA while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role involves testing and implementing system enhancements, assisting with operational products, and contributing to KPI achievement through efficient problem resolution and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in Card Operations within banking preferred.
• Experience in Consumer Loan Operations is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to Card and Loan Operations.
• Handle processing tasks (Chargeback, Retrieval, Representments, Pre-arbitration, Arbitration, Pre-Compliance, and Compliance).
• Ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
• Assist in testing and implementing system/process enhancements.
• Adhere to controls and regulatory requirements.
• Support other operational products as needed.

• Provide high-quality support to the Banking Operations Team, focusing on Card and Loan Operations.
• Handle processing tasks, including Chargeback, Retrieval, Representments, Pre-arbitration, Arbitration, Pre-Compliance, and Compliance, using internal bank systems or Card Association platforms.
• Ensure efficient resolution of transactional and operational issues, tracking them through to completion while maintaining agreed service levels.
• Assist in testing and implementing system and process enhancements to optimize efficiency.
• Adhere to processing KPIs, SLAs, and comply with operational controls and external regulations.
• Provide support for other operational products as needed.

Requirements

• A Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Card Operations within a banking environment preferred.
• Experience in Consumer Loan Operations is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
