Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a technically oriented Maintenance Technician to service and support Card Access Systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and replace defective components to ensure system reliability.

You will install, upgrade, test, and commission new systems, assist with configuration and programming, and document maintenance activities. Travel to customer sites and readiness for overtime are required.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Candidate without experience may apply as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, or low‑voltage systems will be an advantage.
• Hands‑on, responsible, and willing to learn with a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willing to travel to customer sites for maintenance and installation works.
• Willing to perform overtime and standby duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of Card Access Systems.
• Attend to system breakdowns, fault diagnosis, and rectify hardware and system issues promptly.
• Replace defective components and devices to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
• Carry out installation, upgrading, testing, and commissioning works for new systems and A&A projects.
• Assist in basic system configuration, programming, and functional testing of newly installed or upgraded equipment.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules and service standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company procedures, and site requirements at all times.
• Provide technical support and respond to customer service requests when required.
