Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a Service Advisor to provide front line support, coordinating service and repair activities between customers and motor vehicle mechanics. You will interpret customer concerns for accurate diagnoses, raise preliminary repair orders, plan parts availability, monitor progress, and ensure invoices are prepared on collection.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate with mechanics, customers and other departments.
• Willingness to work on alternate Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Handle appointments and phone calls.
• Attend to customer enquiries and complaints.
• Raise preliminary repair orders and plan parts availability & workshop loading.
• Plan customer request jobs and follow up to fulfil service needs.
• Receive customer and finalize preliminary repair order using MBM Standard Time Guide.
• Perform vehicle inspection (VHC walk around) to establish condition.
• Create cost estimates in CDK Drive and obtain customer approval before work starts.
• Monitor job progress and update customers on repair status.
• Test-drive vehicles to confirm service repairs.
• Ensure invoices are ready upon vehicle collection.

About the role

To provide front line support in coordinating service / repair activities between customer and the motor vehicle mechanics. To interpret customer concerns so that the mechanics can diagnose and repair the vehicle correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Handle appointments and phone calls
• Attend to customers enquiries and complaints
• Raise preliminary repair order and pre-plan parts availability & workshop loading
• Plan customer request jobs and follow up with customers to ensure that their service needs are fulfilled
• Receive customer, finalize preliminary repair order using MBM Standard Time Guide
• Perform an appropriate inspection (VHC walk around) to establish its current condition and record it
• Create cost estimate in CDK Drive & obtain customer's approval & authorization before work starts
• Monitor job progress and update customer of repair status
• Test-drive vehicles to confirm service repairs
• Ensure invoices are ready upon vehicle collection
