Job summary

KK Women\'s & Children\'s Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Research Officer to contribute to immune cell therapies, including CAR-T and transplantation research. The role involves data generation, record-keeping, grant support, and collaboration with Principal Investigators to drive projects forward.

You will work on flow-based assays, molecular biology, cytotoxicity assays, and in vivo experiments, with clinical trial sample management and SOP adherence as core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Masters in transplant biology, immunology or gene therapy; or Life Sciences degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with laboratory workflows and data management in translational research.
• Willingness to train in animal work and adapt to fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory investigations to generate data for the project.
• Maintain proper records of all experiments and results.
• Maintain proper records of all clinical trial samples.
• Communicate research results effectively.
• Participate in grant writing/budgeting for relevant research sections.
• Prepare presentations and reports to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure smooth lab operation, including equipment maintenance and supply management.
• Acquire reagents and documentation to avoid delays.
• Assist in developing and optimizing experimental methods.
• Revise techniques and troubleshooting guidance.
• Participate in lab protocol maintenance and SOP compliance.
• Provide staff training to new lab members.
• Collaborate with PI, researchers and technicians on projects.
• Assist students and lab members in experiments as needed.
• Engage in centre and hospital activities related to ACP.
