Job summary

KK Women's & Children's Hospital's Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Office in SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Center is expanding its laboratory unit. The Research Associate will contribute to molecular and cellular characterization of genes and perform biochemical/functional experiments related to translational human carcinogenesis, including mouse models.

The position requires a Masters degree in science with at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in English, and strong

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Science or related discipline with min 2 years of experience.
Technical competence in a broad set of laboratory skills.
Laboratory experience in molecular biological and cell culture techniques will be required.
Experience in handling experiment with laboratory mice.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently, a good team player with good communication skills and dedication to the job.
Conscientious, well organized and efficient in work management.
Position is available for Bioinformatics, for individuals with advanced skills in computing and statistics analyses.

Responsibilities

Characterize genes molecularly and cellularly, performing biochemical/functional assays.
Work with mouse models for translational oncogenesis studies.
Collaborate within a friendly laboratory environment with mentorship from clinician-scientists.
