Job summary

SAC CAPITAL PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a proactive Analyst to assist in IPOs, secondary offerings and other capital markets transactions. You will support deal execution, prepare pitch materials and engage with issuers and investors to progress transactions.

Ideal candidates hold a finance-related degree and 1–2 years in banking or capital markets, with strong analytical skills, Bloomberg and MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Business/Finance or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in Banking, Corporate Finance advisory or Capital Markets; prior fundraising in equity markets is a plus.
• Curious, adaptable and willing to explore new ideas and methods.
• Keen to expand personal network.
• Self-motivated, responsible, meticulous, initiative and a good team player.
• Strong financial and analytical ability.
• Good project management, multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Mature and independent worker with strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging clients and investors.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate investment narratives and develop rapport with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bloomberg knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, and related capital markets transactions.
• Participate in deal origination initiatives by identifying potential issuers and preparing pitch presentations.
• Conduct market intelligence, research and comparable company/transaction analysis to refine positioning and pricing strategy.
• Liaise with clients and investors to work towards successful completion of transactions.
• Assist in organization and coordination of roadshows and other relevant marketing activities.
• Prepare marketing materials, including teasers, term sheets, investor presentations for issuers and investors engagement.
• Collaborate with the internal team to support pricing, bookbuilding and allocation process.
• Prepare pitches to promote Capital Markets services.
• Prepare/maintain documentation and compliance papers for internal committee approvals.
