Job summary

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore seeks a Research Associate/Research Fellow with a strong interest in cancer screening and detection within primary care. The role contributes to an interdisciplinary project on targeted screening and evaluation of methods for at-risk individuals, working with clinicians, scientists and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD in health services research, precision medicine, implementation science or related fields.
• Experience in health services, population health or implementation research.
• Design and conduct of research projects using a range of methods.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical packages such as NVivo.
• Familiarity with primary care settings in Singapore and/or internationally.
• Leadership: ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support feasibility study in primary care to tailor multi-cancer screening according to cancer risks.
• Research, data analysis and interpretation.
• Develop trial materials such as cancer risk communication reports.
• Recruit participants and support delivery and follow-up.
• Data collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Project management, ensuring study deliverables and publications on schedule.
• Prepare reports, presentations and manuscripts for publication.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with patients, clinicians and staff to achieve outcomes.
