Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU Singapore is inviting applications for a Research Associate/Research Fellow with expertise in cancer screening and primary care. The role involves designing and conducting feasibility studies, coordinating data collection and analysis, and collaborating with clinicians and researchers to advance cancer prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

Masters/PhD degree in health services research, precision medicine, implementation science or a related discipline e.g. medicine, nursing, allied health, genetic counselling, public health, social sciences.
Experience in health services, population health or implementation research
Design and conduct of research projects using a range of methods
Proficiency in using software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, statistical packages, NVivo
Familiarity with primary care settings in Singapore and/or internationally
Leadership competencies: Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Working as part of a research team, support the conduct of a feasibility study in primary care to tailor multi-cancer screening according to cancer risks.
Research, data analysis and interpretation
Support the development of trial specific materials including cancer risk communication reports
Support patient recruitment, delivery of interventions and follow-up of study participants
Data collection, analysis and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data
Project management, ensuring study deliverables, reports and publications are completed punctually according to study and grant timelines
Support the preparation of reports, presentation and manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed publication and lay statement
Administration Ensure all work processes met the ethical standards of the University, Singapore Good Clinical Practice Guidelines and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements
Collaboration and communication Work effectively with key stakeholder groups, including patients, clinicians and clinic staff to achieve project and program outcomes
Contribute to grants, manuscripts, reports, reviews, abstracts, posters and oral presentations with collaborators
Assist in communications with institutional review board staff regarding ethics applications, amendments and reports
Work collaboratively with Theme PI and other members of the research team to develop and achieve research outputs
