Job summary

National Cancer Centre Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Research Officer to support the Department of Cancer Survivorship and Wellness. The candidate will perform a variety of research activities including participant recruitment, sample processing, and project management to improve health and well-being in cancer survivors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience with wet-lab handling of patient-derived samples.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate participant recruitment and obtain informed consent.
• Process biological samples and perform extraction of plasma or nucleic acids.
• Coordinate sample submission to external partners and maintain inventories.
• Plan, execute and document experiments; monitor data and contribute to manuscripts.
• Ensure compliance with IRB and regulatory requirements; mentor junior staff as needed.
