Job summary

National Cancer Centre of Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Research Coordinator (CSWAC) to support cancer survivorship research. The role involves participant recruitment, obtaining consent, collecting and processing samples, and coordinating analyses using ELISA, Multiplex, or LC/MS.

You will assist in regulatory compliance, lab safety, and project management while mentoring junior staff and ensuring meticulous record-keeping for studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, biomedical sciences or related fields.
• Experience with wet-lab handling of patient-derived samples.
• Strong technical and wet-lab skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Motivation to contribute to cancer research.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential participants and obtain informed consent per protocol.
• Collect and process biological samples (e.g. Blood or Saliva); maintain inventories.
• Coordinate sample submission to external partners and prepare samples for analysis (ELISA, Multiplex, LC/MS).
• Support research project management, regulatory compliance and document filing.
• Lead and mentor junior staff in sample processing and data updates.
• Plan and execute experiments; document results and present findings.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
