Job summary

MINDEF is seeking a role focused on ensuring 100% readiness of critical operations facilities within a camp complex. You will oversee food safety, retail, feeding, and maintenance services to meet safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes proactive facility monitoring, leadership of a team, and coordination with contractors to support Army operations while maintaining cost-effective practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and management skills required.
• Positive attitude with good leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain 100% readiness of critical operations facilities in the assigned camp complex.
• Ensure high readiness of facilities and associated equipment through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Maintain 100% food safety record with zero GI cases in the camp complex.
• Oversee delivery of retail, feeding, and maintenance services across the camp complex.
• Ensure compliance with service quality and safety standards set by national bodies and Supply Command HQ.
• Maintain cost-effectiveness and financial prudence in repairs and maintenance.
• Set priorities and objectives for the team.
• Develop and manage personnel within the team.
• Manage the critical nature of camp services to sustain high standards.
• Ensure swift repair of facilities to support Army operations.
• Monitor contractors and mediate between contractors and supported units.
