Job summary

THES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled draftsman to prepare detailed drawings and layouts according to engineers and project managers. You will ensure compliance with drafting standards and industry best practices using AutoCAD and related tools.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining drawings, schedules, and material lists, revising drawings as needed, and collaborating with engineers and managers to address queries while ensuring high-quality documentation and version control.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 1–2 years of drafting experience in construction or relevant industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and engineering principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on engineers' or managers' instructions.
• Adhere to drafting standards and industry best practices.
• Create accurate drawings using CAD software with dimensions, annotations, and symbols.
• Maintain documentation, drawings, schedules, and material lists for construction or manufacturing.
• Revise drawings as directed to accommodate changes or resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and others to coordinate drafting activities.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical files with version control.
• Complete any other ad hoc tasks from superiors.
