Job summary

CROWN CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a CAD Drafter to translate hand sketches and verbal instructions into precise AutoCAD drawings. The role collaborates with architects, engineers, PMs and subcontractors to ensure designs are accurate and buildable.

You will create and update project drawing lists, issue drawing sets, and support the design process with creative sketches and clear communication. Strong AutoCAD fluency and proactive coordination are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate hand sketches and verbal instructions into CAD drawings.
• Strong communication and listening skills to liaise with project stakeholders.
• Creative and critical thinking to support design processes.
• Proactive in coordinating with architects, engineers, PMs and subcontractors.
• Experience creating and updating project drawing lists.
• Ability to print/deliver drawing sets in various formats.
• Fluency and skill within the AutoCAD program.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with architects and engineers to gather products and structural requirements and designs.
• Create accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.
• Integrate and work with project managers, design consultants, and sub-contractors to produce and alter drawings.
• Think creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, creating sketches and drawings that work.
• Create and continually update project drawing lists.
• Print drawing sets in various formats for project managers and site superintendents.
• Demonstrate outstanding fluency and skill within the AutoCAD program.
