Job summary

MAXBOND SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a drafting professional to prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for civil and building projects in Singapore.

You will read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings, convert site requirements into accurate drawings, and coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with specifications. The ideal candidate has a diploma or equivalent in drafting or related field, at least 2 years of drafting

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction or related discipline.
• AutoCAD proficiency is compulsory.
• Minimum 2 years of drafting experience in civil engineering or building construction.
• Experience in waterproofing, building or infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare waterproofing layout plans, sections, details and construction drawings.
• Able to read, understand and interpret architectural, structural, engineering and construction drawings.
• Convert site requirements and measurements into accurate technical drawings.
• Revise drawings based on comments from clients, consultants and project teams.
• Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Engineers and site personnel on drawing requirements.
• Conduct site measurements or site visits when required.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with project specifications and requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions and documentation.
• Prepare drawings for submission and approval by consultants/clients.
• Assist the project team with other drafting and technical documentation as required.
