The role involves creating 2D and 3D models and presenting drawings for tender, manufacture, and installation. You will coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and the facilities team to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards, manage the drawings database, perform site surveys

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD) and BIM software (Revit) is crucial.
• Knowledge of construction management software (ACC) is desirable.
• Interpret and understand design data, construction methodologies and perform quality checks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide schematic drawings and detailed, to-scale drawings and layout plans based on client requirements.
• Create 2D and 3D designs using CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Build 3D models to help clients visualize proposals before construction.
• Co-manage the client's drawings database using ACC or similar software.
• Present working drawings for tender, manufacture/construction and installation stages.
• Coordinate with project engineers for technical drawing support from feasibility to as-built review.
• Attend meetings with consultants to understand design and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate with facilities team to generate test fits for space and equipment layouts.
• Ensure drawings comply with local building regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits and surveys as applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control, including submissions by subcontractors.
• Calculate costs and assess material feasibility for manufacturing and construction.
