Job summary

Poh Wah Builders Pte. Ltd. is seeking a CAD drafter to convert design concepts into detailed technical drawings for project teams in Singapore.

You will develop and maintain CAD drawings, as-built drawings and construction drawings, and prepare 3D BIM models for planning submissions. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams and stakeholders, updating drawings for design changes, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher/Nitec/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.
• 1–3 years of drafting experience, preferably in construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical, construction, shop, architectural, civil and structural drawings based on project requirements.
• Develop and maintain CAD drawings, as-built drawings and construction drawings.
• Prepare 3D BIM models and drawings for planning and regulatory submissions.
• Prepare draft outline and detailed drawings to the appropriate scale for planning and construction purposes.
• Attend site surveys when required to take measurements and incorporate site conditions into drawings.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders on construction drawings.
• Review and update drawings according to project changes, site requirements and design instructions.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete and produced according to project specifications and timelines.
• Provide drafting and design support to the project team as required.
