Job summary

China Communications Construction Company Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to lead site coordination and oversee C&S works for infrastructure projects.

You will review drawings, coordinate with consultants, monitor safety and quality, and ensure compliance with Singapore codes. Requires degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 18 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 18 years of relevant experience in civil and structural works.
• Experience in construction projects, preferably building or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of C&S construction methods, drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Singapore codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the C&S Manager in managing and coordinating civil and structural works for construction projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders on C&S matters.
• Review civil and structural drawings, specifications, method statements and submissions.
• Monitor C&S works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and standards.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and coordinating design changes during construction.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress and quality of C&S works.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure C&S works follow the project schedule.
• Prepare technical reports, submissions and documentation.
• Ensure C&S works comply with statutory requirements, safety and quality standards.
• Perform other duties related to C&S works as assigned.
