Qualifications

• Senior technical leadership role owning latency across the full trading platform.
• Hands-on principal engineer with experience in low-latency platforms, C++ engineering and perf optimisation.
• Experience with telemetry, instrumentation and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Own latency analysis and optimisation across the trading platform.
• Identify bottlenecks and evidence latency-producing issues.
• Design and implement telemetry, instrumentation and alerting.
• Lead improvements across software, protocols, connectivity, configuration, hardware and networking.
• Develop and optimise low-latency trading services.
• Work with engineering, infrastructure and business teams.
• Present progress and recommendations to senior management.
• Promote engineering practices and standards around low-latency performance.
