Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning to ensure smooth operational flow and timely delivery.
• Drive cost savings by negotiating competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and shortened lead times with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers for machine components, materials, and procurement products locally and overseas.
• Assess supplier capabilities and reliability to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
• Support Engineering Change (EC) processes by ensuring data accuracy and collaborating with suppliers to implement changes effectively.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands without excess stock.
• Communicate proactively and clearly with cross-departmental stakeholders to align procurement activities.
• Analyze complex data and evaluate variation factors to resolve procurement and supply issues.
• Select and apply appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to optimize procurement outcomes.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and provide regular data analysis and progress updates to the Purchasing Manager.
• Prepare weekly purchasing reports detailing procurement activities to improve operational efficiency and support departmental KPIs.
• Provide management with reviews and recommendations to enhance purchasing processes and procedures.
• Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.
