Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Buyer (Direct) to manage direct purchasing of spare parts, liaise with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery within a semiconductor manufacturing context.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in procurement, SAP proficiency, and the ability to read drawings and BOMs. Monday–Friday work week with completion bonus; joining now.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3–5 years minimum experience in Buyer or Procurement.
• Understanding of SAP, inventory, and production principles.
• Experience handling direct materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct purchasing such as spare parts and understand products.
• Access detailed drawings and part specifications and relay to suppliers.
• Use SAP daily and create POs per supplier LT and approved prices to provide latest drawings & BOM to suppliers.
• Manage supplier order delivery schedule and update SAP timely.
• Order management, supplier delivery tracking, ECN, FAI, GR/IR follow up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new suppliers and purchasing activities to maintain inventory.

The Talent

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Logistic, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Must have 3 to 5 years minimum experience in Buyer, Procurement or related function
• Understanding in SAP, inventory, and production principles
• Has experienced to handle direct materials will be adding advantage

The Job

• Manage direct purchasing like spare and parts with understand product and familiar with tools
• Access to the detailed drawing and specification related to part numbers and provide information to supplier
• Using SAP access in day-to-day basis and create PO according to supplier LT and approved prices to provide latest drawing & BOM to supplier
• Manage supplier order delivery schedule and timely schedule update in SAP
• Order management, procedures on supplier delivery tracking, ECN implementation, FAI process, outstanding GR & IR follow up
• Collaborate with cross functional team to recommend new suppliers and purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory
