Job summary

R SYSTEMS CONSULTING SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a Business Analyst to gather requirements, model processes and prepare detailed specifications. You will act as the bridge between end-users, the solution team and vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment across initiatives.

You will also prepare test scenarios, oversee readiness and integration testing before UAT, and contribute to timelines and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Preferably insurance domain experience and 4+ years in the user environment.
• Broad business experience with SDLC cycle and implementation.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML concepts, automation and analytics tools.
• Experience with AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot) is advantageous.
• Data migration experience with data mapping, reconciliation and cleansing is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across all levels.

Job description

JOB FUNCTIONS

This position is responsible for the gathering of requirements, process modeling and preparation of the requirement specifications. The jobholder will play the role of the communicator, bridge the gap between stakeholders, i.e. end-users, the solution team, vendor etc. The job holder will also be responsible for preparation of test scenarios and integrated testing before user acceptance testing. Additional responsibilities may include timeline planning and/or vendor management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work to achieve objectives and deliver results with an operational focus.

• Efficiently manage stakeholders.
• Prepare user requirement specifications for the enhancements / project
• Prepare test plans, perform readiness & integration testing on the application, manage/monitor UAT.
• Carry out investigation of user reported issues, formulate solutions & sharing with the team.
• Facilitate meetings, present findings with timely updates the point of contact between stakeholders with confidence.
• Assess new ideas for feasibility.
• Develop an understanding of the current processes & identify points that can be streamlined.
• Apply broad knowledge of one job area or broad knowledge of several related job areas.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC framework.
• Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
• Preferred domain specialists in the respective support areas, e.g. Processing, Claims, Insurance, etc.

Requirement:

• Preferably insurance qualifications and at least 4 years in the user environment.

• Skilled in leveraging AI/ML concepts, automation and analytics tools to enhance system performance and support intelligent decision-making.
• Experience with AI-powered tools (e.g Chat GPT, Copilot, automation tools) will be advantage.
• Experience in Data migration project with exposure on data mapping, data reconciliation , data cleansing will be advantage.
• Possess good working attitude and self-motivated to learn. Able to get along with everyone, maintaining good relationships at all levels from senior management to junior staff.
• Good organization skills with sound time management.
