Job summary

Bank of Singapore invites a senior professional to join Investment & Wealth Solutions (IWS) to drive strategy, governance and cross‑functional initiatives across markets in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai.

You will partner with senior management to manage cross‑functional projects, ensure policy compliance, and deliver detailed management reporting and performance oversight for IWS and the Bank.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant work experience in private or consumer banking with strong knowledge of investment products.
• High quality degree level qualification from a reputable university with an excellent academic track record.
• Experience working with senior management in business management, risk and governance and change management within private banking.
• Experience in project-managing and delivering cross-functional projects to quality, budget and time.
• Understanding of controls and risk policies in the context of regulatory environments (Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, support, facilitate and/or execute IWS and Bank of Singapore strategy and work plans.
• Conduct and/or facilitate business and financial planning and sales management.
• Oversee management reporting and governance across IWS and bank.
• Drive governance through data, presentations and meetings for key forums.
• Secretariat for targeted management meetings and tracking of deliverables.
• Represent IWS in projects and cross-group initiatives.
• Serve as escalation point for complex IWS matters and internal inquiries.
• Provide guidelines and streamline processes across Bank/IWS.
• Support senior management with ad hoc presentations for key events.
• Coordinate facilities and general services administration and drive tactical improvements.
• Promote a culture of excellence and best practices across the bank.
• Ensure compliance with Group Policies and Standards; propose corrective actions.

Investment & Wealth Solutions (“IWS”) generates and delivers holistic investment and wealth advisory solutions to meet client’s diverse financial, wealth planning and succession needs. The team comprises of capital markets, alternative investments and managed solutions, customized solutions, wealth advisory and product and business management office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, support facilitate and/or execute the group, bank and IWS’s strategy and work plan, including tracking of initiatives, resolution actions of expenses, recruitment, KPI, product performance, management reporting etc
• Conduct and/or facilitate business and financial planning and sales management
• Central management & oversight of business strategies, plans, performance/cost management initiatives and management reporting
• Drive management rhythms and governance through effective communication including providing analysis, presentations and materials for key meetings and forums
• Secretariat for selected management meetings and responsible for managing the tracking and closure of deliverables
• Represent IWS in projects, workgroup meetings within Bank of Singapore and OCBC Group
• Acts on behalf of IWS to manage internal inquiries and recognised as primary escalation point for complex IWS matters
• Provide guidelines and streamline processes across Bank/IWS
• Support senior management with ad hoc presentations for key meetings such as sales forum, off sites etc and other department events such as townhalls, brown bags and trainings
• Coordinate and follow up on administrative activities related to general services (e.g. facilities planning, moves etc.). Initiate tactical improvements to existing practices where required. Support IWS’s audit exercises as needed.
• Foster and promote a culture of excellence and best practices sharing and adoption across bank.
• Ensure compliance with Group Policies and Standards by proposing corrective actions where required.

Qualifications

• At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in private banking or consumer banking, with strong knowledge of investment products and services. Familiarity with capital market products would be an added advantage.
• High quality and relevant degree level qualification from a reputable university, with an excellent academic track record.
• Demonstrable experience in working directly with senior management in a business management, risk and governance and change management (both business initiatives and technology projects) capacity ideally in the private banking industry.
• Experience in project-managing and delivering cross-functional projects to expected quality, budget and time.
• Understanding of relevant controls, risk policies, procedures and requirements in the context of the Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai regulations.
• Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, focused and a demonstrated ability to work independently under time pressure.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work as an integral part of a larger team, over multiple, concurrent projects, across a variety of topics.
• Highly energetic and affirmative, with a positive, influential style even in the face of challenging circumstances.
