Core Objectives: To spearhead the acquisition of new performance advertising clients in Vietnam, with a focus on the casual / hyper-casual mobile game segment. The role involves managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, contributing to team revenue, building a robust client pipeline, and assisting in the development of overseas sales systems and industry-specific capabilities.
1. Own the Vietnam growth strategy. Define the go-to-market plan and build a robust client pipeline across Mobile Games, Apps, and other performance advertisers in Vietnam.
2. Build and manage a multi-channel sourcing engine. Proactively identify and engage potential advertisers through ecosystem partnerships, industry summits, online research, and partner referrals.
3. Win and own executive relationships. Lead high-quality client meetings, act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, and clearly communicate the value proposition of Tencent AMS overseas solutions. Conduct this in Vietnamese — discovery, pitching, objection handling and negotiation with founders, UA leads and publishing heads, in the local business context rather than a translated global deck.
4. Lead the full sales cycle and negotiation. Own the creation and delivery of sales pitches, manage the negotiation process, and drive deals through contract signing and client onboarding.
5. Build the overseas sales system and playbook. Establish disciplined CRM management, industry-specific playbooks, and repeatable processes — turning individual wins into a scalable, documented operating model.
6. Lead cross-functional influence. Partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering to ensure client requirements are accurately understood and implemented; use market feedback to influence product roadmap and go-to-market priorities.
7. Drive internal ecosystem synergy. Establish collaborative relationships with other international-expansion business units to share resources and create win‑win outcomes.
8. Be the voice of the Vietnam market. Feed local reality back to Product, Ops and Marketing — monetization models, UA budget cycles, eCPM and floor-price benchmarks, local payment and compliance constraints, competitor behaviour.
9. Represent the company in market. Vietnam game and ad‑tech events, developer and publisher communities, local agency networks; build referral loops that keep producing leads after the event ends.
1. Experience — 5+ years in overseas performance advertising (programmatic preferred) sales or business development, with a proven 0→1 client acquisition track record.
2. Vietnamese at full business proficiency (spoken and written), plus working English. Language proficiency is required for day-to-day selling, negotiation and relationship-building in this market happen in Vietnamese. Plus a working network in Vietnam's casual / hyper-casual mobile game ecosystem — publishers, studios and the agencies that buy on their behalf.
3. Entrepreneurship — Thrives in a 0→1 environment: Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a pace set by the business rather than by established process. Brings strong intrinsic motivation and genuine ownership — acts before being asked, treats the Vietnam market as their own business, and takes responsibility for the outcome, with a habit of following things through.
4. Leadership — market ownership — Experience owning a market, business line or region with revenue responsibility; Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in uncertain, early‑stage environments.
5. Skills — Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong self‑drive and goal orientation; comfortable operating autonomously in uncertain, early‑stage environments.
6. Knowledge — Deep understanding of performance advertising, programmatic buying, and mobile attribution.
7. Experience in a multinational / matrixed organization is preferred.
