Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Officer to support the Director of Business Development in preparing client-facing documents, proposals, and onboarding materials. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in trust and compliance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and client due diligence processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of business proposals, pitch decks, and client presentations.
  • Support the onboarding process for new clients, including KYC documentation and compliance checks.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (legal, compliance, operations) to ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Maintain and update business development documentation and templates.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Track and report on business development activities and pipeline progress.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in trust, compliance, or a related financial services role.
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
