A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and manage client relationships. Key responsibilities include analyzing contracts, generating new deals in eFulfillment and retail logistics, and collaborating on market insights. Business Development Manager & Sales
− Analyze current contracts to understand and improve current business and establish relationships with existing customers.
− Lead the customer relationship team to ensure customer needs are met.
− Generate new deals in target markets with a focus on eFulfillment, retail logistics, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
− Be responsible for proactive marketing and tender processing from initial contact to contract conclusion, including the preparation and negotiation of logistics contracts.
− Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create concept proposals and develop new service offerings based on detailed market and customer insights.
− Provide market insights and feedback to management and stakeholders on industry developments and competitors.
− Analyze customer needs (potential, target, and existing customers) and develop new concepts and business opportunities with other teams.
− Maintain good relationships with existing clients, continuously improve profitability, and identify new business opportunities.
− Provide customers with specific advice and information to the BD Director to facilitate business performance reviews, evaluations, and budgeting.
− Achieve budget goals, including overall revenue and contribution margin targets for specific services.
− Ensure accounts generate at least the minimum corporate contribution margin.
− Meet regional accounts receivable targets.
− Ensure full compliance in sales system input and maintain accurate reports of target accounts, opportunities, and sales calls.
