About the role

Head of Commercialisation (Founding Team Member) for an AI startup preparing to launch an AI Virtual Waiter solution in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will join as a core member of the founding team, taking full ownership of the Company's commercialisation. This is not simply a conventional sales management position. You will personally develop customers during the early stage, build the commercial strategy and sales system from the ground up, and eventually lead the Company's commercial expansion across Singapore and Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a solid understanding of the entire marketing and go-to-market process, with the ability to execute across multiple stages and channels
• Personally identify, approach and engage prospective clients
• Recruit, lead and manage a sales team
• Build the commercial strategy and sales system from the ground up
• Lead the Company's commercial expansion across Singapore and Hong Kong

About us

We are an AI startup with a Version 1.0 product and a highly capable product development team. Our product currently consists of two main modules: a restaurant ordering system and an AI-powered virtual waiter. In the future, we may also develop AI-powered inventory management solutions for restaurants. Our product development team includes graduates and researchers from leading universities including Peking University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan University, the University of Sydney, Nanyang Technological University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. We are a young, highly motivated team with strong technical and academic backgrounds, working together to build practical AI products for the F&B industry.

Benefits

• Basic salary: SGD 5,000 per month
• Performance bonus: SGD 1,000 upon achieving the monthly target
• Individual sales commission: 50% in Month 1, 20% per month in Months 2-6, 10% per month in Months 7-12
• Team override commission: 5% of the contract value generated by members of the sales team
• Eligibility to participate in the Company's annual profit-sharing programme, expected to represent approximately 30% of the Company's operating profit
• Equity or share-option allocation may be offered, depending on capabilities, contribution and long-term commitment
