Job summary

ISLURP in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Executive for location scouting and expansion. You will actively visit sites, establish relationships with landlords or store managers, and negotiate placement deals for vending machines across our growing network.

The role requires daily field activity, strong communication, and the ability to meet targets. Base salary is provided with performance incentives and signing bonuses for viable locations.

Qualifications

• Must be on the ground daily, not desk-bound.
• Comfortable walking in cold and talking to shop owners and landlords.
• Organised, persistent, and you report numbers honestly.
• Experience in F&B, retail, vending or property leasing is a plus.

Business Development Executive – Location Scouting (Full-time)

ISLURP | Singapore

ISLURP runs fresh-squeezed apple juice vending machines at 42 locations across Singapore, including NTUC FairPrice, Prime, Hao Mart, Marina Bay Sands, SMRT and malls. We’re growing to 70+ and need a hunter to find and sign our next locations.

What you’ll do

• Visit every site on a list of 50 target locations that we’ll give you. Create your own list too in addition.
• At each one, build personal contacts with the person who decides (landlord, store owner or manager) and collect their name, email and phone number.
• Negotiate and close placement deals.
• Join a daily call with the founder to update your pipeline and progress.
• Hand over the full contact details for each location to ISLURP on the day its machine is deployed.

Who we’re looking for

• A hunter: you’re out on the ground every day, not behind a desk.
• Comfortable walking in cold and talking to shop owners and landlords.
• Organised, persistent, and you report numbers honestly.
• Experience in F&B, retail, vending or property leasing is a plus.

Pay

• Base salary: S$2,500 per month.
• Signing fee per viable location: Locations 1–6: $250 each, paid after the machine has been operating for 15 days. Locations 7–12: $300 each. Location 13 onwards within the same month: $500 each. Signing fees are paid only once our team confirms the location is viable.
• Commission per location, based on its average daily cup sales over its first 30 days: More than 24 cups a day: 10% of that location’s gross turnover (GTO).More than 30 cups a day: 25% of that location’s GTO.
• First-month target: sign at least 15 viable locations.
• Health insurance is provided.

What counts as a viable location

Our team decides whether a location is viable. As a guide, it must be expected to reach these average daily cup sales:

• 18 cups a day where monthly rent is $450 or less
• 22 cups a day where rent is $451–600
• 25 cups a day where rent is above $600
