Responsibilities

• Manage commercial activities for data center projects by partnering with delivery, engineering, and cross-functional teams to evaluate change requests, variation orders, and commercial proposals.
• Develop, review, and maintain regional service framework agreements with suppliers to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline service procurement workflows and improve automation of service ordering and delivery.
• Conduct market research and due diligence to support land, power, water, permitting for new data center developments.
• Analyze commercial data, project costs, and supplier performance to provide insights for procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external partners to support contract management and negotiations.
• Contribute to annual business reviews by preparing commercial analyses and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize commercial processes and supplier management.

About the TeamByteDance Data Center Development team is responsible for building Data Center and Network in the Asia Pacific region. Our work involves, but not limiting to, data center innovation, implementing advanced technologies and renewable energy to achieve carbon-neutrality, rapid project delivery, capacity planning, process and risk control, cost management, etc. Our objective is to provide ByteDance with efficient Data Center infrastructure services to support our business growth.We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. • Contribute to annual business reviews by preparing commercial analyses, performance reports, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to optimize commercial processes, enhance supplier management, and improve operational efficiency across regional data center projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any Engineering discipline;
• Understanding of procurement systems and processes, with a strong sense of cost control.
• Excellent communication skills
• Have experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and participate in cross-functional collaborations.
• Preferred to have interest and/or basic knowledge of Data Center.
