Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd invites an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and IT teams for a transaction banking project. You will ensure clear requirement gathering, documentation, and alignment across the development lifecycle.

You will interact with business units in transaction banking and operations, translate needs into precise BRDs and FSDs, and support SIT/UAT and regulatory alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, banking or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Understanding of banking operations.
• Experience in requirement documentation and process mapping.
• Familiarity with transaction banking concepts (payments, corporate banking services).
• Experience of working on Paynow Application systems.
• Exposure to digital payments or real-time payment systems.
• Ability to work with technical teams and understand system flows, APIs, and integration concepts.
• Good understanding of IT development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Transaction banking services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (transaction banking, operations) to understand needs and translate them into clear specifications.
• Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), and process flows.
• Support gap analysis, impact assessment, and solution design discussions.
• Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation and defect tracking.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and internal banking standards where applicable.
• Provide ongoing support during the development phase and assist in issue resolution.
