Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst with 8–10 years in analysis, requirements management, and testing. The role focuses on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and bridging business stakeholders with technical teams across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include eliciting requirements, documenting BRD/FRS, creating user stories and RTMs, and guiding SIT/UAT and defect management to ensure delivery aligns with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and functional specification.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end SDLC.
• Hands-on experience supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst with 8–10 years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, functional documentation, and testing. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and be comfortable engaging business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Engage business users and key stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, processes, and system requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Analyse and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify requirement gaps, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and potential business impacts.
• Validate requirements with stakeholders and obtain formal approval and sign-off.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and achievable.

Functional Documentation

• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and business rules.
• Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes.
• Define screen behaviour, field validations, calculations, system responses, notifications, and exception-handling requirements.
• Prepare data mappings, interface requirements, process flows, and functional impact assessments.
• Develop and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure functional documentation remains accurate and up to date as requirements and solutions evolve.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Review test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and expected results.
• Ensure test coverage is aligned with approved business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation.
• Coordinate UAT activities with business users, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off.
• Analyse defects, clarify expected system behaviour, and support defect prioritisation and resolution.
• Verify that delivered solutions meet agreed business and functional requirements before deployment.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and functional specification.
• Strong experience preparing BRD, FRS, user stories, use cases, process flows, and RTM.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end SDLC.
• Hands-on experience supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
