Job summary

TOSS-EX PR PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Business Analyst in Singapore to lead requirements definition, analysis and documentation for critical projects.

You will work closely with the project manager to assess existing systems and propose improvements, ensuring quality deliverables for clients. The role emphasizes gap analysis, model development (domain, process, use cases), testing, training, and translating user needs into IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in business requirement analysis or related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and tight schedule.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
• Customer oriented and a team player.
• Strong in presenting and negotiating requirement details with Customer.
• IT Savvy and able to introduce new concepts to customer.
• Demonstrate experience in Mid-Large scale projects as a BA.
• Experience in Government projects.

Responsibilities

• Align all stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are adequately gathered and defined.
• Perform gap analysis to complete the clients’ business requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation on business input and translation into visual models (Domain model, process flow diagrams, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, data models, wireframes).
• Coordinate with development and support teams to analyse and fix root cause issues as needed.
• Perform system end-to-end testing to validate it meets the requirement specifications.
• Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.
• Develop test scripts and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Conduct end-user training for system implementations or enhancements.
• Translate user requirements and communicate to development / Support team to IT solutions.

The Business Analyst (BA) is required to have strong skill sets in the following key areas: requirement definition and analysis, documentation, project planning and implementation. This role takes ultimate responsibility for identifying and solving problems affecting the business solution, and works closely with the project manager to analyse the existing business systems and make recommendations for improvement to ensure quality deliverables for customers.
